Fire protection

NF F 16 101

This standard (now replaced by EN 45 545 – 15 but still valid within the framework of renovations) specifies the reaction-to-fire performance requirements for materials and components of railway vehicles.

M Classification:

In accordance with NF P 92-503, this test involves exposing specimens to both heat radiation and hot gas applied to the surface of specimens.

A pilot flame is used to ignite the specimen, where applicable.

M classification is used to evaluate and guarantee the reaction-to-fire of our nonwovens.
